Larry Angell's about-me page

My about-me page is kind of boring, but I've had many requests from site visitors to describe my life, so here it is:

I guess our pasts have a lot to do with why we have become the way we are. I have learned to develop a strong mind through my struggles and successes.

about me

My father would take pack trips into Yellowstone Park with his horses. That's what he did for a living. Sometimes we would get to come with him. The river was ice cold. I'm the buff blond at the far right.

riding a horse

When I got older, I would take guided tours and teach dudes how to ride horses. It was a nice break from all the farm work, which there was always plenty of.

Here's a fun website that explains life in the west:

cowboy living

Carribean

I went on a Mormon Mission when I was nineteen. I went to Panama and Costa Rica. I got to learn Spanish and an Indian dialect called "Dule Gaya" in San Blas, Panama. We drove motorboats everywhere because the Kuna Indians live in islands on the coast in the Caribbean. The Caribbean was beautiful in the summer months and terrifying and angry in the winter months.

Kuna Indian

Kuna indians

I learned a lot about life from the Kuna Indians. They lived in huts with Palm frond roofs. There was no Electricity, no stores, no hospitals. Life was simple.

mandarins

The people of Panama and Costa Rica reminded me of my own home community. They were all really poor, yet uncommonly generous and charitable.

loader

sawmill

I worked 12 years for Louisiana Pacific. Sawmill life was fast-paced and dangerous. I liked it though.

I did carpentry on the side for many years.

family man

Life never seems to slow down for us to enjoy the things we love. Being a Husband and Dad is one of the few things in life that truly matters to me so I always find the time for family.

I love to take the family camping at our favorite spot. Last year we camped more than any year before. My wife has even made a website about how to go camping to relieve stress. Go check it out:

camping

I have to force myself to relax. Sometimes it just feels good to be unproductive and put my mind in neutral for awhile. I love the outdoors.

network hub

I had to switch occupations and decided to go into Digital Communications. It has been a lot of fun learning something new and different. Now, computers are a big part of my world.

***Why I do my own websites***

It's fun to share knowledge, but it's even funner to get paid for it.

This website earns around $2,000 per month. I have around 2500 visitors every day. My goal is to reach 10,000 visitors a day. Once I reach that goal, I will be earning around $7500 per month.

Before I built this website, I had previously built 5 websites. All of them failed because I didn't know how to build web pages that the search engines wanted.

I made 2 videos that explain the importance of using

SiteBuildIt

This video tells a small part of my story and why I'm glad I have my websites.

Everybody always tells me that this video is really weird. I don't mind. I made it with my kids and we had a lot of fun. It explains why using SiteBuildIt is so important.
