builder-of-family-homes-and-home-single-system projects

These are projects for any builder-of-family-homes-and-home-single-system designs. You can save a lot of money and give your home a personal touch if you make custom furniture.

When designing beds and bedrooms, it's best to let those who will be living there design their own. My kids were able to design and create the look and feel they each wanted. It doesn't matter if the parents disagree. This is their own little world.

Let's start out with a few projects I've done recently.

I built this bunk bed system for my daughters. They both wanted beds to climb up to so I put ladders on both. They are safe and built sturdy.

Any designers can copy this model by looking at it. They have room for their TV, stereos, and video gear. It would be nice if they could keep it clean.

The bed is built very sturdy and is really heavy. It has a high gloss finish which is important for cleaning pepsi spills and fingernail polish.

My son designed this bed. It has an entertainment center at the foot of the loft bed. Underneath he designed a desk and drawers.

He helped me build most of it. He wanted the old burnt and varnished wood look. I've made many things with that style. He can't seem to keep his room clean either.

The dark color of the bed makes it difficult for adequate lighting but kids like dark rooms these days. A darker color is also much easier to keep clean.

Both of these bedrooms systems had to be built outside and assembled in the rooms. It's a good idea to wait until the bed components are in the rooms to paint or varnish them.
