That's where we get family rooms that look formal and a little too "high brow" for Super bowl Sunday. Still, that's what people want so that's what we build.

Traditional family rooms are more for comfort and so any way you want to design it will be acceptable. That's why it's easy. Some of the best family rooms I've ever seen are designs taken from several different plans.

It's a good idea to see several types of plans before you design your own plans. That way you will be sure of what feels comfortable.

With that in mind, I have taken most of my traditional family room plans and replaced them with more modern styles. I personally don't care for many of the newer styles, but that's not my call.

I have selected only the plans that can be built economically. These are very beautiful rooms and they can be built for a good price if the homeowner will do the labor.
