decorators-designer-interior for baths and bathrooms

Baths and Bathrooms have become the main focus of decorators-designer-interior plans. That's because beautiful baths and comfortable bathrooms make the sale to prospective buyers. Apart from kitchens, bathrooms are the most expensive room in the home. They take extra care when installing walls, floors, and ceilings to prevent moisture damage. Showers, sinks and tubs are also quite expensive.

baths

For some reason, extra fancy bathrooms don't necessarily make the home a lot more valuable, but it makes the home more sellable. This is a good reason to build nice bathrooms.

Many bathrooms now have jetted baths of all kinds. The tile work used on many baths is beautiful and incredibly durable.

As far as showers, there seems to be a trend for doorless showers. They are easier to keep clean, but it takes a lot more tile because doorless showers have extra walls.

The tile installation can be quite expensive too. I love to work with tile and encourage everyone to give it a try. It's not as hard as it looks.

baths

This luxurious bath would cost a lot of money if a contractor built it. It would be a project around $20,000 by a professional. If you was to build it yourself, it would cost around $5500. The labor for bathrooms costs a lot, but in all fairness to contractors, bathrooms take time to finish and it is really hard work.

A few other things to remember about jetted baths, is that they need special water lines that are bigger so the bath can fill up quicker.

Most electrical codes state that baths with pumps need to be wired with a dedicated 20-amp circuit. I don't know all the reasons for this, but it's easy to run a separate line to the jetted bath.
