Lawn landscape-design-ideas

Using lawn in landscape-design-ideas is an elegant touch, but lawns need a lot of water. On the east coast of the United States, there seems to be many spacious lawns, but here in the mountainous west, we try to keep them small and manageable.

If you can afford to buy sod, the lawn will have a better start and will take root much faster. If you can't afford sod, then that's still just fine. You can spread seeds with a seed spreader and do things from scratch. Make sure the dirt is moist and has adequate drainage without pooling.

Sprinkler pipes that spray mist are better at first than heavier spraying sprinklers. Heavy sprinklers can wash seeds away or cause the lawn to be patchy. That's still just fine because most lawns started from seed have patches that need to be replanted.

If you can irrigate a lawn with underground sprinkler pipes, you will be much further ahead than if you have to drag a sprinkler around all the time.

Some people like to break up the continuity of the lawn by putting an island of flowers in the middle.

Lawns require a lot of maintenance so you need to be sure a lawn mower can maneuver easily and reach all the areas of grass.

It's always a good idea when planning a lawn or yard to consider exactly what you're going to use it for. Also consider how easy or difficult it will be to mow. If there are a lot of tight corners and obstacles in your yard, it will be hard and time-consuming to mow.

OK, these critters are no good for your lawn. If you find one, don't pick it up or try to make it your pet, call a licensed verminator.
