Installing low-voltage-lighting-indoor for stairways
Installing low-voltage-lighting-indoor systems for stairways is a great idea for night time illumination. Stairs need abundant light when they're being used a lot.
For this we can install the main lighting that is controlled by a switch at the top and the bottom of the stairs.Well lit lighting fixtures above the stairway reduce the danger of someone falling due to poor lighting. Incandescent or fluorescent lighting is good for stairways because the bulbs are bright. Low-voltage lighting is quite dim as far as main lighting, but it's great for stair tread illumination at night.
I like the stair lighting kit in the photos below. These are some of the most popular kits right now. The low voltage lighting does a great job illuminating the stairway in the dark.

I have always liked spiral stairs for their sleek style, but they are a much bigger falling hazard than normal stairs. The least we can do to make them a little safer is to brighten up the steps.
Stair lighting is much easier to install before the walls have sheet rock or the stairs are covered. Low voltage wiring uses a small gauge cable that is easy to run and is able to hide quite easily. Also low voltage lighting is great for alternative power sources during power outages. For example, if you have to use a car inverter to run your low voltage lighting during a power outage, it will work really well. That way you won't be completely in the dark.
