Success-quote for inspiration
My lifelong success-quote is something Tony Robbins once said, "Psychology is 80 percent of any success or failure in this life, mechanics is only 20 percent." I have put this to the test and found it to be completely true. The simple mechanics, or rather the circumstances in my life, painted a dismal picture.
I was penniless with no resources. All of my family and friends were the same. I have been sick
almost every day since my early twenties with chronic migraine headaches. It would have been easy to give up and live on disability for the rest of my life. The world beats us down every day, but we don't have to stay down. That's my personal success-quote. I fight to enjoy life every day and try to glean from it the joy and happiness available to everyone. All they have to do is open their eyes and see it. I have worked hard to make a good living and to get educated so my wife and three children could have the life they deserve. My anti-migraine meds cost around $2,000 a month, but we still get by just fine. I love my world and it gives me so much satisfaction.
As mentioned in my success-quote, the power of our own strong mindset can lift us out of the darkest dungeon or pull us out of the deepest abyss. We have all been given god-like capabilities and the sooner we understand that, the quicker we rise to extraordinary levels. I have had many failures in life, but none of them permanent. My successes started once I changed my psychology. Everything changed for the better when I understood my potential. I remember when I was considering a college education and thinking that my High School grades were too low to get in any college at all. It was true and I had to beg the Dean to let me in, but I graduated from college with a 3.82 GPA while working and building my house. I turned my whole life around and started making my own good luck.
My parents taught me back in the 60's that hard work and integrity was all I needed to get by successfully. That advice was good back in the industrial era, but it quickly changed and it's now the information era.
Hard work and integrity are no longer enough. If you're not part of the worldwide information market, then you're probably falling behind.
