yellowstone-parks and local scenery

The area around Island Park is so close to yellowstone-Parks, that there seems to be a never ending abundance of beauty and wildlife.I think that is why so many people are buying up land in Island Park.

There is such an awesome view of the Grand Teton Peaks from Island Park and parts of Yellowstone.

Wolves have been re-introduced and protected in Yellowstone Park. They have become strong and unbelievably prolific.

The Pine Marten has also made a come back. They feed mostly on squirrels so a lot of people don't let them live. They have the most beautiful orange patch of fur under their neck.

The local otter population has also grown ever since the price of furs took a downturn back in the 1970's.
